Selman Breitman Expands Footprint with Relocation of Key Partner Lisa Lampkin to Arizona

Selman Breitman is proud to announce its recently-expanded regional presence with the relocation of partner Lisa M. Lampkin from the firm’s Los Angeles office to Scottsdale, Arizona. The move enhances the firm’s on-the-ground support to clients in a key U.S. market and further expands its insurance practice.

“Our entry into Arizona is important for our firm and our clients,” said Neil Selman, founder and managing partner of the firm’s Insurance practice group. “We have been successfully handling our clients’ cases and other matters in Arizona from California as we have several attorneys licensed in Arizona but establishing a presence in that market and having counsel based locally seemed the natural next step in our firm’s growth.”

Lampkin said, “The move to Scottsdale allows us to better serve our numerous clients that are based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Having a local presence makes it easier to  meet in person with clients on a more regular basis as well as enhance our presence with the Courts and with the legal community.”

Early next year, the firm plans to establish a physical office in Scottsdale with Lampkin as the office managing partner and will make appropriate hires to serve client interests.

A member of the firm’s Insurance practice group, Lampkin represents clients throughout the country in disputes that involve complex legal issues, multiple parties, and significant monetary exposure. Her practice involves counseling clients regarding their coverage obligations and rights against others, litigating insurance actions, and advising clients on program-wide issues such as claims handling, litigation management, and underwriting.

Lampkin also represents insurance clients in the prosecution and defense of actions involving declaratory relief, equitable contribution, subrogation, rescission, reimbursement, unjust enrichment, indemnity, bad faith, breach of contract, negligence, fraud, misrepresentation, unfair competition, and professional liability. In addition, Lampkin has participated in a rigorous secondment program in both the United States and London insurance markets.

In addition to California and Arizona, Lampkin will soon be admitted to practice in Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.
