Gregory Newman to Provide an Overview of Wrap Insurance Policies

Partner Gregory Newman will speak at an upcoming session at The Seminar Group’s Legal and Professional Education, “WRAP Insurance” program on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Greg will discuss what a wrap-up policy is, the types of policies that are available, as well as why they should be used. He will also discuss the issues that can arise with a wrap-up policy, the typical coverage that is provided, as well as common coverage limitations. He will discuss enrollment procedures, the issues that arise, and provide check lists for Sponsors and Insurers. Greg will also discuss multiple housing coverage issues and how wrap coverage responds when a loss impacts mixed use buildings, such as commercial spaces and living spaces. Finally, he will discuss multiple insurance coverage cases that illustrate how wrap coverage responds where multiple policies may be implicated.
