Peter Mintzer to Speak on Environmental Claims Arising from Redevelopment Projects at 2020 CLM Focus Event

Managing Partner of the firm’s Pacific Northwest Group, Peter Mintzer, will speak at CLM’s 2020 Focus event, Cannabis, Environmental, Insurance Fraud, Property, Subrogation, Claims & Litigation on November 5, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern/8:00a.m. Pacific. The session titled, “Redevelopments: Insuring the Environmental Risks and Managing the Claims” will examine the environmental aspects of risk management and risk transfer of a redevelopment project, including insuring the risks and handling the claims. Peter and his co-speakers, Kim MacDonald, Head of Environmental Claims Americas at AXA XL, Brian Margolies, Partner at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP, and Patricia Shippee, Claims Technical Director at Great American Insurance Group will also discuss some common environmental claim loss scenarios at redevelopment projects and how to approach and manage claim scenarios. 

Peter represents insurers in complex insurance coverage matters, including environmental claims. Peter is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and seminars in the areas of insurance claims and related topics. He is a Chapter Editor of the Washington Insurance Litigation Practice Guide (LexisNexis), and frequently provides in-house training for clients on complex insurance claims and related litigation.
