Elaine Fresch Speaks on Industry Bias at CLM’s National Construction Conference
Los Angeles Partner Elaine Fresch was a presenter at the CLM and Business Insurance Construction Conference in San Diego. In a session entitled, "Can the Industry Improve? Addressing the Current Challenges of Bias in the Construction Industry," Elaine and a panel of noted industry professionals addressed the bias and diversity challenges that are facing the construction and construction litigation industries today. The audience of adjusters, claims and risks managers, construction professionals, and attorneys joined in the discussion of what might be perceived as bias, and how to address these issues when they arise. The panel addressed how this industry compares with others, and how law firms, insurance companies, and other companies are dealing with these challenges.
Joining Elaine on the panel were Mary Ceko (Vela Insurance Services), Yolanda Gonzalez (North American Risk Services), Gerald Wright (Empirical Loss Management), and Mickey DeLaup (DeLaup Law Firm).
