Elaine Fresch To Speak At The 2014 CLM Construction & Environmental Conference
On August 1st, Elaine Fresch will be speaking on the topic, "Issues That Arise with Multiple Carriers and Multiple Deductibles." This conference offers the latest in topics from both the Construction and Environmental Committees. A wide range of issues will be covered, including genetics and toxic tort claims, developing effective national defenses, green coverage, building information modeling (BIM), design professional and contractor risk transfer, multi-party litigation, ISO amendments, and more.
Elaine K. Fresch is the managing partner of the construction defect department in both California and Nevada. Ms. Fresch's primary focus during her career has been in the area of construction defect litigation, primarily representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and product manufacturers. Ms. Fresch has had the rare opportunity of trying complex construction defect cases. Ms. Fresch also handles a variety of complex commercial litigation matters.
Ms. Fresch has been invited to speak at numerous seminars. Most recently, she served as Panel Chair at West Coast Casualty CD Seminar on the topic,"Litigating the Construction Product Claim." Ms. Fresch has been featured in Forbes Magazine in their "Outlook-Los Angeles Legal Section," and in the Los Angeles Daily Journal. She has been selected as one of Southern California's "Super Lawyers" for several years, and designated as one of the Top Fifty Women Lawyers in Southern California for 2014. Ms. Fresch is the recipient of several industry awards, including the Syhre Award. She is also a Co-Founding Director of the Women's Construction Litigation Alliance (WCLA), which promotes women in the construction litigation industry.
