Michael A. Amaro is an Associate in Selman Breitman’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s General Liability, Insurance, and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He represents business clients in civil litigation, including cases arising out of catastrophic loss, car accidents, and other personal injury matters. Michael’s clients include technology and insurance companies. He also has experience in defending clients in the trucking, commercial vehicle, insurance, and corporate industries in disputes that involve catastrophic loss, wrongful death, employment law, intellectual property, and general tort liability.

Michael’s extensive experience in General Liability enables him to provide a multi-faceted approach to analyzing cases, advocating for his clients, and preparing for trial. He works closely with Business Owners, General Counsel, and Insureds to develop resolution and trial strategies to serve his clients’ interests. 

Originally from Orange County, Michael presently resides in Los Angeles  with his dog Creedence. When not helping clients with their legal needs he spends his time volunteering in various community outreach programs designed to help underrepresented minorities in higher education and the homeless. He has served as an attorney-coach for the CRFOC’s annual Mock Trial program since 2017. Michael also enjoys running marathons and is an avid music enthusiast.
