David Elstner is an Associate in the firm's Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Insurance Coverage Litigation practice group. He represents clients in the evaluation and litigation of complex insurance matters, including claims ranging from malicious eviction to medical malpractice to intellectual property. David works closely with clients to evaluate complex legal questions and develop optimal strategies prior to litigation, at mediation, and through trial.
During law school, David received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship for academic excellence. He served on the Editorial Board of Pepperdine Law Review as a Note and Comment Editor and earned CALI awards for highest course grades in Constitutional Law and Cross-Cultural Mediation. David’s experience in litigation began in the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney, where he served as a clerk in the Business and Complex Litigation Division. Additionally, David served as an extern for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II at the United States District Court, Central District of California. Prior to law school, David attended UCLA, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Public Policy.
Originally from Santa Barbara, California, David presently resides in the Westside area of Los Angeles. When not helping clients with their legal needs, David enjoys staying fit, going to Dodgers games, and being with family and friends.
