Peter W. Bloom is an Associate in Selman Breitman’s San Francisco office and is a member of the firm’s Insurance practice group. He represents insurers in coverage disputes, including cases arising out of construction claims, negligence, bad faith, and premises liability. Peter’s clients include regional, national, and international insurance companies. He also has experience representing property owners in disputes involving complex issues under the San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley Housing and Building Codes.

While working toward his J.D. at Northwestern University School of Law, Peter was an executive editor of Northwestern University's Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, the second most-widely subscribed-to journal published by any law school in the United States.

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Peter now resides in Oakland with his partner Amy and their dog Sally. When not helping clients with their legal needs, he spends his time playing softball and exploring California.
