Katelin Sepideh Aghel is an Associate in Selman Breitman’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the firm’s Insurance practice group. She represents insurance carriers in disputes with their insureds, including cases arising out of commercial general liability. Her practice includes the preparation of coverage opinions, reservations of rights and declination letters, as well as the litigation of insurance coverage matters, including declaratory relief, equitable contribution, and bad faith claims.

The recipient of several academic honors, Katelin earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in History. Following law school, she worked as an extern to the Honorable David Cunningham III.

A Southern California native, Katelin resides in the Westwood area of Los Angeles.  When not helping clients with their legal needs, she enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Much of her spare time has been spent in community service activities, as a volunteer assisting elderly hospital patients, and mentoring youth groups.
